[please apply online] Advantage is seeking a professional, pleasant and high-energy Retail Sales Support role. This Sales Representative will support and contribute to the growth of our Kennebunk, Maine Retail Store Location.

This is a salary based position responsible for greeting and assisting customers at Kennebunk’s premiere Appliance Store. Duties include answering phones, greeting and welcoming our customers into the retail store and interacting with customers in a relaxed retail environment. This position also involves duties and functions related to Sales, such as learning about product and being excited to share this knowledge with customers and potential customers, accepting checks, cash, processing credit cards, entering credit applications, scheduling deliveries and arranging appointments. Light data entry work is also required as well as assisting the store manager with any administrative, maintenance and merchandising type tasks they may need your help with. Responsibilities include:

· Preparing sales reports for Store Management

· Monitoring Sales staff to ensure our customers receive the highest quality of service

· Support Store Manager and Sales staff with price matching, credit card finance attainment goals, returns, and issue escalation

· Monitor customer flow and experience

· Schedule service calls for any appliance not functioning properly in the showroom

· Monitor store appearance as relevant to presentation

· Receive and prepare transfers to and from other locations and facilities of the Company

Qualifications:

· A passion for customer service and sales

· 2+ years retail management experience (always a bonus but not a must)

· Proficient with computers and software, including Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

· A pleasant demeanor, professional image and appearance, a positive attitude an openness to learning and improving, and showing up with growth mindset, daily

· Ability to work in a team environment and possessing strong, interpersonal skills

· A commitment to excellence in service

· A competitive attitude for increasing the Retail Store's sales performance and customer satisfaction rate

· MUST be able to work a flexible schedule including an occasional, alternate weekend Saturday (based on needs of the business)

· MUST be able to lift at least 40lbs
